Shortcut form – Completing the Shortcut tab

The Shortcut tab has four required fields, and an optional properties section.

In the Shortcut Title field, provide a brief, descriptive title.

Shortcut Properties

Field Description
Rule Type Select the type of report that this shortcut applies to:
  • Report definition
  • List view (deprecated)
  • Summary view (deprecated)
Applies To Provide the Applies To part of the report that this shortcut applies to. Enter the first few characters, and use the SmartPrompt field to display available options.
Rule Key Provide the Rule Key of the report that this shortcut applies to. Enter the first few characters, and use the SmartPrompt field to display available options.

Report Properties

You can provide additional information about the report in the Report Description field. This information is displayed in the Report Browser in the Description column of the report.

If the report requires or accepts parameters, you can specify them in the Parameter Name and Parameter Value fields. You can add as many parameters as you need.
