Increasing column lengths
You can update the column length for text properties using Schema tools. The new length must be longer than the current length.
Before you begin:
- You must have the PegaRULES:DatabaseAdministrator role to access Schema tools. For more information, see Adding a role to an access group.
- You must change the maximum length of the field on the Advanced tab on the Property rule form before changing the column length at the database level. For more information, see Property form - Completing the Advanced tab.
- Click .
- Expand the database and tables to navigate to the column that you want to modify.
- Click Edit.
- Enter the new length.
- Click Submit.
