Simulated data objects in the Integration Designer

The systems of record that are displayed in the Integration Designer are determined by how the data sources are configured on the data pages, referred to as data views in App Studio, of the data object.

The integration system name displayed in the Systems of record column in the Integration Designer is determined as follows:

  • Non-simulated data objects:
    • For connectors, Integration Designer displays the integration system that is configured for the connector.
    • For report definitions and lookup sources, Integration Designer displays the integration system that is configured in the database record. PegaRULES, PegaDATA, and CustomerDATA are displayed as Pega.
    • Activities and data transforms display the integration system that is configured on the data source itself, in the data page.
    • For aggregate sources, Integration Designer displays the integration systems of the data sources that are included within the aggregate source.
  • Simulated data objects:
    • If the data object does not have a configured connector or report definition when you turn the simulation on, Integration Designer displays the integration system that is configured on the data source in the data page.
    • If the data object has a connector or report definition configured when you turn the simulation on, Integration Designer displays the integration system configured on the connector or database rule.
