A primary path is a set of actions that your business process follows to reach an expected goal. For example, in a hiring a job candidate process, you can create a primary path that starts with collecting documents from a candidate, goes through a job interview and a background check, and finishes with approving the candidate. Creating a primary path helps you define the order in which your business process moves most often towards resolution, and model the process in a way that most precisely matches your work. To ensure that you can resolve work in different scenarios, create alternate paths.
