Validating your Next-Best-Action Designer configuration in Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor

Validate your Next-Best-Action Designer configuration by using the Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor tester utility.

Before you begin: Install the Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor portal. For more information, see "Implementing the Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor test harness" in Testing your Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor strategy framework.
  1. In the header of Dev Studio, click Launch portalNBAA portal.
  2. In the Customer ID field, enter your customer ID number, for example, C1000012, and then click Search.
  3. If Pega Next-Best-Action Advisor does not return your next best action, clear the data page.
    This can happen the first time the service is called after installation. Clearing the data page and retrying fixes the issue.
    1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsData Page.
    2. In the Page Name column, search for D_NBAContainer, and then open the result by clicking it.
    3. On the Load Management tab, click Clear data page.
    4. In the browser window, select the Flush All check box.
    5. Click Submit, and then click Close.
  4. Start negotiation by clicking Negotiate Retention.
  5. In the Recommendations section, click Recommend.

  6. View the Shared needs assessment dialog box, and then click Cancel.

  7. In the Recommendations section, click Next.
    For more information, see Refining recommendations in.
  8. In the Negotiation section, click Compare.
  9. In the Compare offers dialog box, click Cancel.
