Excluding unused components from the CSS file

Suggest edit Updated on April 5, 2022

To reduce the size of the Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) file for an application, you can exclude unused components from the CSS. By reducing the size of the CSS file, you improve the loading time of the application.

  1. Display the application skin on the Skin form.

  2. On the Included styles tab of the Skin form, clear the check boxes for the components that you do not want included in the CSS file and click Save.

  3. Click ActionsRefresh.

Result: On the Component styles tab, only the components that are selected for inclusion in the CSS file are displayed in the list of components for the skin.
