Updating member-type access settings for published content

Updated on January 26, 2022

Content that is specified for an unreleased product version can be published ahead of general availability (GA) for internal audiences (for example, Pega only). Once the GA date arrives, it is the responsibility of the content owner to update the member-type access setting to select additional access types or make the content available for all audiences.

  1. In the header of the content, click Edit.
  2. In the Member-type access section, clear or select the relevant checkboxes.
    1. To make Pega-only restricted content available for all viewers, clear the Pega checkbox.
    2. To add more access types to the content, select one or more checkboxes (for example, Partner).
Note:  Leaving all member-type checkboxes blank is the same as selecting all.
    3. Click Save.
Note: As a best practice for missions, begin by updating the checkboxes at the topic level, and then move on to challenges and modules before updating the mission access type. Otherwise, you might receive an error message. For more information, see Member-type access settings.
