Step 6: Defining code group requirements

Suggest edit Updated on September 18, 2020

The common codes management solution provides the ability to create and maintain custom code groupings that can be used in business processes e.g. benefit definitions in product/benefit management, defining event conditions for identifying gaps in care from claims history in medical management etc.

  • To leverage this capability, you will need to manage code set repositories in Pega Foundation for Healthcare using the common codes management solution.
  • If you choose not to maintain code sets in Pega Foundation for Healthcare, skip this step.
  • You must make an inventory of all code groups that will need to be configured and identify the code sets that will be leveraged for creating the custom code groups.
