Re-evaluation of basic conditions

Updated on June 30, 2021

The items in a KYC Type can be configured to drive some of its basic characteristics using the available information. This makes use of the applicability condition associated to a question, its mandatory condition, and its read-only condition. These three attributes of the items can be configured against decision rules that determine whether they are enabled or not.

For more information, see Configuring KYC Types and Items.

The engine ensures that every response to any question is followed by an automatic re-evaluation of the associated conditions to all questions in the KYC Type. This means that, every time that an answer is provided by the user, a process to re-evaluate the basic attributes of the items is triggered. This process is started automatically and does not require any special configuration.
