Configuring opportunity update attempts for small group opportunities

Updated on May 10, 2021

Pega Sales Automation Implementation Guide
When a small group opportunity is closed, the system creates or updates related objects in the background. If this task fails, the application is queued for another attempt to update the opportunity. You can configure the number of attempts that the system makes to update the opportunity by modifying the spmProcessApplication queue processor.
  1. In the navigation pane of Dev Studio, click RecordsSysAdminQueue processor.
  2. Search for and open the spmProcessApplication queue processor.
  3. Enable this queue processor by turning on the Enable Queue Processor switch.
  4. In the Processing retries section, modify the maximum attempts, initial delay, and delay factor values based on your business requirements.
  5. Click Save.
