Configuring a Microsoft Azure authentication profile

Suggest edit Updated on July 1, 2021

Configure a Microsoft Azure authentication profile so that messages sent to and from your application use Microsoft Azure authentication.

Before you begin: You must complete the following task before you can configure an authentication profile: Creating an authentication profile. Note: Microsoft Azure authentication profiles are supported only by Azure BLOB storage repositories; this authentication profile is not supported in connectors.
  1. Open an authentication profile from the navigation panel by clicking RecordsSecurityAuthentication Profile and selecting a Microsoft Azure profile from the instance list.
  2. In the Endpoint protocol list, select the endpoint protocol:
    • HTTPS
    • HTTP
  3. In the Account name field, enter the account name.
  4. In the Account key field, enter the account key.
The value you enter is masked by default. To see the value as you type, select the Provide secret access key by reference in clear text check box.
  5. Click Save.
