Enabling the refresh view button for a table

Enable the Refresh option for a table so that users can reload the table data while retaining the personalization options that they applied, such as filtering or hiding the columns.

Before you begin: Optimize the table code. For more information, see Optimizing table code.
  1. In the Section form, click the table, and then click the View properties icon.

  2. On the Operations tab, in the Grid operations section, the Show refresh list check box.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. On the Section form, click Save.

Result: At run time, users click the Refresh button on the table toolbar to reload the data or render the changed view.
